Banquet Server

Qualifications & Skills

Training certificate (Smart Serve)
Minimum 18 years of age
Previous wait staff experiences a plus
Knowledge of catering practices preferred
Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift serving trays
Reliable transportation required

Banquet Server Responsibilities & Duties

Banquet servers must always adhere to health and safety standards. 
Run food from the kitchen to the banquet hall on demand.
Assist with food and table prep before the event begins.
Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind. Ensuring safe food handling performance.
Serve plated dinners and family style dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs.
Communicate with banquet supervisor as well as other servers and event organizers.
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Open wine and take drink orders.
Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks.

Bartender

Qualifications

Training certificate (Smart Serve)
Previous bar tending experience.
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
The ability to work well in a team.
Tact and diplomacy for dealing with difficult situations.
Able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations
Reliability.
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Bartender Responsibilities and Duties

Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients.
Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
Maintain an accurate ticket drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally.
Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum.
Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times

Coat Check Attendant

Responsibilities and Duties

As a coat check attendant you would be taking and retrieving coats for guest throughout the event. No work experience required. This is a great opportunity for people who want a supplemental income.

Event Cashier

Qualifications & Skills

Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
Basic PC knowledge.
Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
Good math skills.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Customer satisfaction-oriented.

Cashier Responsibilities

Cashier will manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Balance at the end of shift.
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
Greet customers when entering or leaving the club.
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

Kitchen Attendant/Assistant

Description

As a kitchen attendant – or kitchen assistant – you are effectively the engine room of the kitchen. Working under the guidance of a kitchen supervisor or chef, your job is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational. You may also be involved in preparing ingredients, so it's a great stepping stone to becoming a chef

Responsibilities

Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
Maintain a clean kitchen in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.
Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.
Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts.
Disposing of rubbish.
Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
